Institutional Development Grants

To build a strong PARI to grow and deepen its work.

To provide dedicated support to the existing Social Justice Donor Group (SJDG) to coordinate social justice advocacy efforts with the broader philanthropy sector.

To improve the overall functioning of the Black Sash Board of Trustees, ensuring that it operates more effectively, in alignment with its governance mandate.

To increase public awareness of and support for the social justice sector through a modern, user-friendly and interactive CALS website that (i) narrates the history of the sector and its successes (ii) counters the misinformation about the sector, (iii) provides publicly accessible research and information, and (iv) advances a vision for just and transformed social order, while not shying away from the challenges faced by South Africa and the continent.

To develop and strengthen the Women's Legal Centre Trust's organizational governance, culture and wellness policies and procedures so as improve overall organizational resilience (responsiveness) of its Board, Management and staff.
