To undertake the formal legal, human resources, and institutional restructuring required to transition Afesis to a resilient, right-sized, operating model.

The objective is to strengthen the leadership capacity of the Association of Independent Publishers (AIP) by supporting its Office Manager to complete the GIBS Executive Programme in Media Leadership (EPML), developing the strategic, ethical and collaborative leadership skills needed to lead AIP effectively and to support its national network of independent publishers.

To facilitate a smooth National Council (NC) and Senior Management transition by instituting a participatory change management process that strengthens organisational governance, sustains institutional knowledge, documents institutional learnings, and prepares EE for continued stability.

To strengthen the EELC's institutional capacity across three connected areas- staff development and career pipeline; monitoring and evaluation systems aligned to Vision 2030; and leadership and fundraising capacity; so that the organisation has the people, systems, and skills needed to deliver sustained impact for learners and communities over the next five years.

To critically assess and strengthen Open Secrets’ strategic response to the global rise of authoritarianism and its impact on democratic institutions, with the aim of identifying how the organisation can adapt its work to more effectively challenge impunity, corruption, and militarisation in this shifting context.
