To promote accountable and transparent local government by enhancing informed citizen action and campaigns to fix local service delivery issues with collaboration between citizens, elected counsellors and public servants or by holding them to account when service delivery is failing.
To build the capacity of traditional leaders and councils to participate in environmental governance and climate change decision-making. Strengthen community-led environmental awareness, protection of wetlands and rivers, and collaboration with municipalities and conservation bodies.
