All marginalised and vulnerable people experiencing suffering from political, economic and social injustices acquire and live in habitable environments of their choice and are able to express and advance their constitutional rights and interests freely without prejudice.

A South Africa with transformed and improved legal, social and economic justice for poor and vulnerable people, the realisation of constitutional rights, and the advancement of democracy.

To contribute towards a more effective and accountable state, that supports the development of a more socially and economically just society; a state that understands how the poorest and most marginalised are impacted by state policies and public administration and one that develops reform proposals that improve the lives of these communities.

To resource the coordination work of the Alliance for Rural Democracy in building a rural movement and safeguarding secure tenure for people living in the rural areas of South Africa for accountability and restorative land justice.

To advance socio-economic rights, in particular the right to access health care services and the right to basic education as guaranteed in the Constitution, to enhance the power of individuals and communities to claim their rights and expand democratic space; and to contribute to a civil society sector that operates effectively as a progressive force for the realisation of rights.

To collaboratively build people’s participation in, and understanding and monitoring of, South Africa’s budget, planning and implementation processes, serving as both a catalyst and a resource in support of mobilisation.
