The overall goal of this grant is CCL’s intended long term impact to achieve:

• Constitutionally compliant and child-rights centered legal and policy framework;
• Empowered child rights sector that can hold duty bearers accountable;
• Child responsive budgeting for socio-economic rights to advance social justice for children;
• Duty-bearers, rights-holders and civil society are aware of their responsibilities in relation to the rights of children;
• Accountable duty-bearers and effective mechanisms to hold them to account;

A strong and credible child law academic discipline which generates knowledge to support the child rights and protection systems and structures.
